彼得前书

1:23

你们蒙了重生，不是由于能坏的种子，乃是由于不能坏的种子，是借着神活而常存的话。

Having been regenerated not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding word of God.

1:24

因为“凡属肉体的人尽都如草，他一切的荣美都像草上的花；草必枯干，花必凋谢，

For "all flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass has withered, and the flower has fallen off,

惟有主的话永远长存。”所传给你们的福音就是这话。

But the word of the Lord abides forever." And this is the word which has been announced to you as the gospel.
