42:1 看哪，我的仆人，我所扶持，我所拣选，我魂所喜悦的；我已将我的灵放在祂身上，祂必将公理宣布与外邦。
Here is My Servant, whom I uphold, My chosen One in whom My soul delights; I have put My Spirit upon Him, And He will bring forth justice to the nations.
42:2 祂不喧嚷，不扬声，也不使街上听见祂的声音。
He will not cry out, nor lift up His voice, Nor make His voice heard in the street.
42:3 压伤的芦苇，祂不折断；将残的火把，祂不吹灭；祂要凭真实将公理宣布出去。
A bruised reed He will not break; And a dimly burning flax He will not extinguish; He will bring forth justice in truth.
42:4 祂不灰心，也不丧胆，直到祂在地上设立公理；众海岛都要等候祂的训诲。
He will not faint, nor will He be discouraged, Until He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands will wait for His instruction.
42:5 创造并铺张诸天，将地和地所出的一并铺开，赐气息给地上的万民，又赐灵给行在其上之人的神耶和华，祂如此说，
Thus says God Jehovah, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and what springs up from it, Who gives breath to the people upon it And spirit to those who wal k on it:
42:6 我是耶和华，凭公义召了你；我必紧握你的手，保守你，使你作众民的约，作外邦人的光，
I am Jehovah; I have called You in righteousness; I have held You by the hand; I have kept You and I have given You As a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations;
42:7 开瞎子的眼，领被囚的出牢狱，领住在黑暗中的出监牢。
To open the eyes of the blind, To bring the prisoner out from the prison, Those who dwell in darkness from the prison house.
42:8 我是耶和华，这是我的名；我必不将我的荣耀归给别神，也不将我的赞美归给偶像。
I am Jehovah, that is My name, And I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.
42:9 看哪，先前的事已经成就，现在我将新事说明；这些事还未发生，我就说给你们听。
Indeed, the former things have come to pass, And new things I am telling you; Before they spring forth I will let you hear them.
42:10 航海的和海中所充满的，众海岛和其上的居民，你们都当向耶和华唱新歌，从地极赞美祂。
Sing a new song to Jehovah; Sing His praise from the end of the earth; You who go down to the sea and all that fills it, You coastlands and their inhabitants.
42:11 旷野和其中的城邑，并基达人居住的村庄，都当扬声；西拉的居民当欢呼，在山顶上呐喊。
Let the wilderness and its cities, The villages which Kedar inhabits, lift up their voices; Let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy; Let them shout from the tops of the mountains.
42:12 他们当将荣耀归给耶和华，在众海岛传扬对祂的赞美。
Let them give glory to Jehovah, And declare His praise in the coastlands.
42:13 耶和华必像勇士出去，必像战士激动祂的妒忌；祂要喊叫，大声呐喊，要胜过祂的众仇敌。
Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man, Like a man of war He will stir up His jealousy; He will raise a war cry; He will even roar. He will prevail over His enemies.
