安吉拉：杰米，我真高兴你跟我们一起来。我跟你玩得真开心。
杰米：是啊，谢谢你们邀请我！我真的很感激！
安吉拉：随时欢迎，女孩！
凯莉：是的，随时给我们打电话！你有我们的号码吗？
（凯莉拿出一张纸开始写电话号码，安吉拉轻轻踢了她的腿，暗示她不要给出她的号码）
凯莉：给你，杰米。随时打电话给我们！听见了吗？
杰米：再次谢谢你们！我明天就打给你们！
（杰米走开）
安吉拉：（恼火地）你干嘛这样做？
凯莉：什么？你什么意思？
安吉拉：你为什么要把我们的号码给她？
凯莉：你说你“玩得很开心”。我以为你喜欢跟她在一起。
安吉拉：跟杰米？你在开玩笑吗？我都不知道你为什么一开始要邀请她！
旁白：凯莉和安吉拉不知道的是，杰米忘了拿她的钱包。
（杰米走回来，但在听到她们在争吵时停在半路）
安吉拉：她住在那栋又丑又破的房子里，还总是有怪味。她是个书呆子。还有……她跟那个怪怪的孩子混在一起！
凯莉：（用余光注意到杰米）至少她很友善、真诚，和她在一起挺有意思的！
安吉拉：（仍然没有注意到杰米）如果你再邀请她，我就不去了。
杰米：（带着难过的声音走近）嘿，大家好！我忘了拿我的钱包！
安吉拉：（迅速转身，脸上带着虚假的大笑）杰米！真高兴这么快又见到你！我们刚刚在讨论明天看电影的事，你要一起来吗？
凯莉：（不敢相信地摇头）但安吉拉……
杰米：（从椅子上拿起钱包）不，我想我不去了。我是个书呆子，所以我真的需要学习！
安吉拉：（下巴掉了下来，声音颤抖）呃……呃……
杰米：我想我还会跟那个“怪孩子”鲍勃一起学习，他其实挺有意思的！
（三个女孩都定格不动）

Angela: | Jamie, I’m so glad that you came with us. I had so much fun with you. |

|
Jamie: | Yeah, thanks guys for inviting me! I really appreciate it! |
|
|
Angela: | Any time, girl! |
|
|
Kelly: | Yeah, just call us! Do you have our numbers? |
|
|
(Kelly takes out a pice of paper and begins to write their phone numbers on it. Then, Angela gives her a soft kick in the leg to hint to Kelly not to give out her number) | |
|
|
Kelly: | Here you go Jamie. Just call us! Any time, ya hear?! |
|
|
Jamie: | Thanks again! I’ll call you guys tomorrow! |
|
|
(Jamie walks off) | |
|
|
Angela: | (Annoyed) Why’d ya do that?! |
|
|
Kelly: | What? What do you mean? |
|
|
Angela: | Why did you give her our numbers? |
|
|
Kelly: | Well, you said you had “so much fun.” I figured you liked hanging out with her. |
|
|
Angela: | With JAMIE? Are you kidding me? I don’t even know why you invited her in the first place! |
|
|
Narrator: | What Kelly and Angela didn't know, was that Jamie forgot her purse. |

|
(Jamie comes back in but stops half way when she realizes Angela and Kelly are arguing about something) | |
|
|
Angela: | She lives in that really ugly house and she always smells weird. She’s a nerd. Plus…she hangs out with that one creepy kid! |

|
Kelly: | (Notices Jamie out of the corner of her eyes) At least she’s nice, sincere and fun! |
|
|
Angela: | (Still not noticing Jamie) If you ever invite her again, I won’t go. |
|
|
Jamie: | (Coming closer and with a sad voice) Hey guys! I forgot my purse! |
|
|
Angela: | (Turns around really quick and with a big fake smile on her face) Jamie! So good to see you so soon! We were just talking about watching a movie tomorrow. You wanna go? |
|
|
Kelly: | (Shakes her head in disbelief) But Angela... |
|
|
Jamie: | (Picking up her purse from the chair) No, I don’t think so. I’m a nerd, so I’ll really need to study! |
|
|
Angela: | (Mouth drops and in a shaky voice) um...um... |
|
|
Jamie: | I think I’m also going to go study with that creepy kid, Bob, who is actually really fun! |

|
(All three girls freeze in place) | |
|
|
Narrator: | Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing, my brothers, this should not be. James 3:10 |
