News Anchor: | Hello, I'm Sammy Jericho, and we have Breaking news! The 12 friends of Jesus have been seen in pairs visiting people all over the country. As you might know, Jesus appears to be a prophet of God. He has become well known in the region, speaking to many about God’s kingdom. His followers believe He is the Messiah. Apparently, His 12 apostles were sent out to homes to recruit more followers. A lot of homes have welcomed them, but some closed their doors. Everyone is talking about what is going on. One of our news reporters was able to track down two of the apostles, and we now bring you this live interview. |

(Reporter, Peter and Andrew appear) | |

|
Reporter: | Mr. Peter, I understand, you are a fisherman? |
|
|
Peter: | I was.. I mean I still am. But now I am a fisher of men. |
|
|
Reporter: | What do you mean by fisher of men? |
|
|
Peter: | God said He will come down from heaven and be with us on earth. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the one. Through Him, God will forgive me. Jesus had been telling me about this good news, and I was told to spread it to others. |

Reporter: | Andrew, does Peter mean he is now fishing for men to follow Jesus? |
|
|
Andrew: | Yes. It had always been difficult to follow the law perfectly. The people of Israel had kept a lot of laws, both man-made and those given to Moses directly from God. But no one can possibly obey every law, and God says we must be punished for not obeying every law. But Jesus is the answer! |

|
Reporter: | And this is your crusade? To share this with as many people as you can? |
|
|
Peter: | Yes, to tell them this good news. There is freedom from our bondage to the law. Jesus came not to break the law, but to fulfill it. And no man can ever do that. Jesus showed us that He is the only one. |

|
Reporter: | You were traveling in pairs to reach out. But we have noticed that as you were traveling you didn't’ have any personal belongings with you. Was this to impress people? |
|
|
Andrew: | Certainly not! Jesus told us to go in faith. He said those that hear and accept His words will also have it in their hearts to help us out. They would give us food, a roof over our head or whatever else we needed. That is why we do not worry about where we will eat or sleep. |

|
Reporter: | Well, your group seems to be in the news a lot lately. Can you explain why you and your friends seem to be creating some enemies, especially when you shake your sandals off when you leave their homes? Why are they so angry? |
|
|
Peter: | This practice was normally done to pagan households, or to the Gentiles. As Jews, we never wanted to associate ourselves with them, so we would shake our sandals to remove even the dust we came in contact with. We had always regarded the Gentiles as impure and condemned. |

|
Reporter: | So why are you doing this to the Jews then? Are you not Jews yourselves? |
|
|
Andrew: | Because Jesus told us to go and tell the Good News to the Jews first. Those who welcomed us would have peace. But those who reject the Good News, peace will never be with them. As we shake their dust from our sandals, God will also shake them off from His kingdom. Although they may be the chosen people of God, by doing this we proclaim that they are not as worthy as they think they are. This is the real reason why so many are mad at us. |

Reporter: | That is very judgmental, don’t you think? |
|
|
Andrew: | No. It is God who does the judging. His wrath will be upon them because of their disbelief, and because they are blind to the truth. |
|
|
