CROSS PUZZLE
(Jigsaw) "All we like sheep have gone astray," Isaiah 53:6: A cross-shaped puzzle to help the kids memorize.

MATERIALS: Cross puzzle for each child [PDF] Click here Scissors
DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes
PREPARATION: Before class, print the number of copies you will need, and cut out each puzzle piece. Place all seven pieces from each puzzle into separate envelopes.
What you will do: The object is for the children to put the puzzle together by getting the words to read correctly. You can have them work alone or in groups. Have a race to see who can put the verse together the quickest. When finished, have everyone look up and read Isaiah 53:6. The words in this puzzle are from the NIV. You can also have the kids glue the pieces onto another piece of construction paper to take home.
