应用:

LIFE CLUES
The children will learn that a growing faith will have signs of spiritual life. by Leah Pittsinger TOPICS: Spiritual maturity, Faith MATERIALS: Props: Apple, fresh flower or plant,picture of a tree, puppet, pencil, etc. Table
DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes PREPARATION: Display the items on a table. WHAT YOU WILL SAY: Hold up the items one at a time and ask the children how they know whether or not the item is alive. Suggestions include bright colors, movement, looks fresh, etc. Application: It’s probably obvious to us if these objects are alive or not. There are some definite signs of life whenever something is alive. For example, if the apple was mushy and discolored, it would be safe to say that it was rotten. Or if the flower was wilted and brown, it would no longer be alive. Similarly, we know the puppet isn’t alive because it can’t grow or move on its own. Well, did you know we can think about our faith the same way? If we aren’t moving forward in faith by trusting God to help us grow and become more like Him, then we won’t have the spiritual signs of life. Rather, we look dead and unconvinced about Jesus. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anything “dead” from anyone, especially a “dead” faith! So, let’s show the world this week that we are spiritually alive in Jesus by loving and serving others and sharing our faith.
