故事(15分钟)

在介绍之后,阅读儿童版的故事。作为一种选择,你可以直接读Bible中关于拿俄米和路得的故事。


介绍:

今天我们的故事是关于一个年轻女子的,她在一个不敬拜神的地方长大。那个地方的人拜的是偶像。然而,这个年轻女子遇到了一个非常特别的人,这个人教她认识真正的神。让我们读一读这个故事,看看她的生活是如何改变的。(你可以不读下面这个儿童版的圣经故事,而直接读圣经中的故事。)

(可选)读:路1:1-22(拿俄米和路得)

问题讨论:

1. 摩押人是拜偶像,还是跟随神?(他们拜偶像)

以祷告开始点心时间,感谢神是多么美好,无论我们走到哪里,祂都是那么爱我们。对于今天的点心,你可能想给孩子们一些不同颜色的软糖。在他们吃的时候,提醒他们神的世界充满了许多美丽的颜色,不同的国家和人民,而神爱他们所有人。


课程结束时的活动(5-10分钟)


按照说明玩这个游戏;但是,不要说父、子或灵这些词,而用下面的方式。

不说父,而说 "敬拜神"。

不说子,而说 "跟随神"。

不说灵,说:"不要拜偶像"。

Practice saying the verse aloud several times, and then have the kids make up a song and sing the verse to God in praise and thanksgiving..


BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)

After the introduction, read the children's version of the story. As an option, you can read the story about Naomi and Ruth directly from the Bible.


Introduction:

Today our story is about a young woman, who grew up in a country where they did not worship God. Instead, they worshipped idols. However, this young woman met someone very special who taught her about the true God. Let's read the story to find out how her life changed. (Instead of reading the below children's version of the Bible story, you can read the story directly from the Bible.)


Ruth Follows God (Story)(Option) Read Ruth 1:1-22 (Naomi and Ruth)


Discussion Questions:

1. Did the people in the country of Moab worship idols, or follow God? (They worshipped Idols.)

2. Where did Naomi and her two sons come from? (The town of Bethlehem in Judah.)

3. Where did Ruth and Orpah live? (Moab.)

4. When Naomi returned to Bethlehem, who went with her, Ruth or Orpah? (Ruth.)

5. Did Ruth go with Naomi because she wanted to worship idols? (No, she wanted to follow God.)

6. Should Ruth be afraid to follow Naomi to Bethlehem? Why or why not? (She should not be afraid because she will be living in a place where the people worship the true God.)

7. If you were Ruth, would it be difficult to leave your home and go to a country you never been before? (Allow for answers.)

8. Is it good to follow God all of the time? (Yes.)

Begin snack time with prayer, thanking God for how wonderful He is and how much He loves us wherever we go. For today's snack, you may want to give the children a few jellybeans of different colors. As they eat the treats, remind them of how God's world is full of many beautiful colors, countries, and people, and God loves them all.


CLOSING ACTIVITY (5-10 minutes)


Play this game as instructed; however, instead of saying the words Father, Son or Holy Spirit, use the following:

Instead of Father, say, "Worship God."

Instead of Son, say, "Follow God."

Instead of Holy Spirit, say, "Don't Worship Idols."
