今天的圣经故事中,约瑟在他的生活中三次担任过二把手。这个活动将帮助年幼的孩子们理解成为二把手的含义。

解释成功来自于主。神为那些爱祂的人安排一切,尽管我们当时可能无法理解。让大家一起多重复几次这个经节,可以用手势来强调一些关键词,比如心、倚靠和聪明


故事(15分钟)


把孩子们聚集在你身边,为故事时间做准备。在介绍之后,读给孩子们听关于约瑟成为二把手的圣经故事。作为选择,也可以直接从圣经中读相应的故事。


介绍:

今天的故事中,我们看到约瑟的生活似乎从坏到更坏,但最后有一个意想不到的结局。故事结束时,我们将看到,所有事情都是为那些爱神的人所安排的。

问题讨论:

  1. 约瑟被卖给一个埃及官员,官员的名字是什么?(波提乏)

首先,感谢神为我们提供点心和让我们有种植粮食的能力。吃一些白米饭或黑米饭作为点心。可以加些糖或肉桂增添口味。解释一下,稻米是一种谷物,在今天的故事中,埃及人在七个荒年里可能会储存和食用稻米。

THE LIFE OF JOSEPH LESSON 2: JOSEPH IN EGYPT

In this lesson, children are introduced to the principal of trusting God in both good times and in bad times.

TOPICS Following God, Joseph, Provision, Trust

AS KIDS ARRIVE (10 minutes) Who is Second? (Activity) Click here In today's Bible story, Joseph is second in command during three different times in his life. This activity will help younger children understand what it means to be second.

BIBLE VERSE (5 minutes) “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5a NIV

Explain that success comes from the Lord. God works things out for those who love Him, even though we may not be able to understand it at the time. Repeat the verse together several times as a class, using hand motions for some of the key words such as heart, lean, and understanding.

BIBLE STORY (15 minutes) Gather the children around you in preparation for story time, using the same items used during the opening activiy. After the introduction, read the children's version of the Bible story about Joseph becoming second in command. As an option, you can read the story directly from the Bible. Introduction: In today's story we see that Joseph's life appears to go from bad to worse, but there is a surprise ending. By the end of the story we see that all things work together for the good of those who love God. Joseph, Second in Command (Story) Click here (Option) Read Genesis 39-41 Discussion Questions: 1. Joseph was sold to an Egyptian official, what was the official's name? (Potiphar) 2. Why did Potiphar put Joseph in charge of everything he owned? (Potiphar noticed that the Lord gave Joseph success in everything he did.) 3. Potiphar's wife told lies about Joseph and had him thrown into prison. While in prison which two of the king's servants did he meet? (Cupbearer and Baker) 4. How did Joseph help the cupbearer and the baker while they were in prison? (Joseph explained the meaning of a dream for each of the men.) 5. Later the Pharaoh had two troubling dreams, but none of his wise men could figure out the meaning of the dreams. The cupbearer knew someone who could explain dreams and told the Pharaoh. What is the name of the person who could explain dreams? (Joseph) 6. What did the Pharaoh's dreams mean? (There would be seven years with plenty of food, but then seven years where people could not grow food.) 7. Who did Pharaoh put in second of command over all of Egypt? (Joseph)

Start by thanking God for the snack and for providing us the ability to grow food. Have a snack of white or brown rice. You may optionally add sugar or cinnamon for added flavor. Explain that rice is a grain which could have been stored and eaten by the Egyptians during the seven bad years that we read about in today's story.
