LESSON 1: GOD MADE ME SPECIAL
This lesson shows children how God cares for them by making them special and giving them unique gifts and talents.
TOPICS
Child of God, Self-Worth
AS KIDS ARRIVE (10 minutes)
As kids arrive have them draw pictures of things that they like to do. Just before class starts ask the children to share their pictures with the class. Point out that each of us may enjoy doing different things, some of us may like sports, some may like computers, some may like to draw or sing. God made each of us special. How can we use these things to honor God?

Explain to the children that God made each of us special. God gives each of us unique gifts and talents, which we should use to bring Him glory and honor.
BIBLE STORY (15 minutes)
Gather the children around you for story time. After the introduction, read the provided children's version of the story about the wife of noble character. As an option, you can read the story directly from the Bible.Introduction:In today's story we will hear about a woman that creatively developed the talents God had given her to make beautiful clothes and help meet the needs of her family.
