介绍

等孩子(10分钟)

着色页 | 我的好朋友


为孩子们准备好白纸、蜡笔和彩色笔。当孩子们到达时,让他们画出自己和好朋友在一起的画面。可以画在学校、户外玩耍、或一起坐在树下等场景。在孩子们画画时,可以和他们聊聊,有一个好朋友是多么美好的事情。


完成后,将所有画作贴在墙上。请孩子们轮流指出自己的作品,并分享好朋友的名字和一些关于他们的小故事。若有孩子不愿意分享,也可以选择跳过。


开头的祷告(5分钟)


经节(5分钟)


朋友时常亲爱。 -箴言17:17上


让孩子们围成一个圈,从任意一个孩子开始,让他/她说出经文的第一个词:“朋友”,顺时针方向继续,第二个孩子说“时常”,依此类推,一直到完整地说出整句经文。重复多次,看看孩子们能否越说越快而不出错。


故事(20分钟)

请孩子们围坐在你周围,准备讲故事。在介绍后,读下面根据撒母耳记上18-20章改编的儿童版故事。


介绍:

在大卫成为以色列王之前,扫罗是国王。扫罗因神多次帮助大卫而心生嫉妒。他非常生气,甚至多次想伤害大卫,因为他不愿大卫成为下一任王。


扫罗有一个儿子叫约拿单,大卫和约拿单成了好朋友,他们常常在一起做许多事情。今天我们要讲的,就是大卫和约拿单的友谊。



讨论问题:

  1. 大卫的朋友叫什么?(约拿单)

  2. 约拿单的父亲是谁?(扫罗王)

  3. 为什么扫罗王嫉妒大卫?(百姓称赞大卫比扫罗更多)

  4. 新月节时,大卫躲在哪里?(田野里的磐石后面)

  5. 大卫第二次没有出席宴席时,扫罗做了什么?(生气,甚至想伤害约拿单)

  6. 约拿单带了什么去田野?(弓箭和一个捡箭的小仆人)

  7. 我们怎么知道大卫和约拿单很难过?(他们都哭了)

  8. 为什么他们会难过?(大卫的生命受到威胁,不得不离开)

  9. 临别前,大卫和约拿单做了什么?(他们承诺永远做朋友)

趣味时间(15分钟)


结尾的祷告/点心时间(10分钟)


可以准备夹心饼干作点心,告诉孩子,饼干的两片就像两个朋友,中间的奶油就像他们之间的感情纽带。一起祷告,感谢神赐给我们许多美好的事情。用餐时,鼓励孩子们谈谈朋友之间会做哪些特别的事情,也一起讨论耶稣是我们朋友时,我们能和耶稣做什么有趣的事情。

KING DAVID

LESSON 3: David's Best Friend

In this lesson, children learn about David and his best friend Jonathan. They will also discover how friends are a blessing from God and that Jesus wants to be our best friend.

AS KIDS ARRIVE (12 minutes)

My Best Friend (Coloring Activity)


Have paper, crayons and colored markers, available for when the children arrive. Let the children draw and color a picture of themselves along with their best friends. Suggest they can create a picture of the two of them at school, playing outside, or sitting under a tree, etc. While they are working on their project, talk about how nice it is to have a best friend. When finished, display all the artwork on the wall. Let each child point out his or her artwork. Have them share the name of their best friend, and a little information about them. Allow anyone who does not wish to share the option to pass.

BIBLE VERSE (5 minutes)

"A friend loves at all times." Proverbs 17:17a NIV


Have the children get in a circle, and start with any child. Have this child say the first word of the verse, "A." Then going clockwise, have the next child say the second word, "friend." Then the next child says the word "loves" and so on. Continue saying the entire verse in this fashion over and over again. See how fast the children can go without making any mistakes.             


BIBLE STORY (20 minutes)

Gather the children around you for story time. After the introduction, read the below Children's version of the story about David and his friend Jonathan taken from 1 Samuel 18-20.


Introduction:

Before David became King of Israel, Saul was king. King Saul was jealous of David because God helped David do many things well. King Saul became angry and even tried several times to hurt David. He didn't want David to become the next king. King Saul also had a son named Jonathan. David and Jonathan became good friends. They did many things together. Our story is about the friendship between David and Jonathan.

Discussion Questions:

1. What was the name of David's friend? (Jonathan.)

2. Who was Jonathan's father? (King Saul.)

3. Why was King Saul jealous of David? (The people gave David more praise.) 

4. Where did David hide during the new moon celebration? (Behind a rock in the field.)

5. What did King Saul do when David did not show up for supper the second time? (He got angry, and even tried to hurt Jonathan.)

6. What did Jonathan take with him into the field? (A bow and arrows, and a young boy to find the arrows.)

7. How do we know that David and Jonathan were sad? (They both cried.)

8. Why were David and Jonathan sad? (David's life was in danger, and David had to go away to be safe.)

9. What did David and Jonathan do before they went different ways. (They promised to be friends forever.)

10. Jesus is our friend. How long will Jesus be our friend? (Forever.)

A good snack would be sandwich cookies. You can compare the two halves with two friends and the cream filling the bond between them. Start with prayer, thanking God for all the good things He gives to us. As the children enjoy their snack, have them talk about the special things friends do together. Discuss how Jesus is also our friend. Ask the children what special things they can do with their friend Jesus.
