I Can Learn about God

Children make a small book that teaches them about God.

DURATION:

Approximately 10 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class print and cut out a set of "I Can Learn About God" pictures for each student in your class.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Give each child a set of "I Can Learn About God" pictures. Explain to the class that each of them will be making a little book, which will teach them about God. Have the children put the pictures in the following order from front to back: The book title, Bible, Church, Prayer, Family and Friends. The teacher or adult helper will then put two staples down the left hand edge of the book. Once the book is stapled together, have the children write their name on the back of the book. As you discuss each picture and its significance with the children, have them trace the letters under each picture.
