FORGIVE FROM THE HEART
The children will race to the heart while learning about forgiveness. by Leah Pittsinger TOPICS: Forgiveness, Mercy MATERIALS: Activity page [PDF] Click here Solution Pencils DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes
PREPARATION: Print one handout for each child. Set a handout and a pencil at every child’s place.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Ask the children use their pencils to see how quickly they can “race” to the heart without crossing any lines. Application: God forgives us when we do bad things, so He wants us to forgive others too! Instead of being mean to someone who has hurt us, we can show the kindness and love that God has put inside our hearts.
