PRAYER MATS
A wonderful Bible craft that the kids will remember for a lifetime. The kids enjoy praying while using their prayer mat. by Teresa of Homestead Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC
TOPICS: Prayer
MATERIALS: Small carpet sample or cloth place mats Flower stickers Permanent Markers Paint
DURATION: Approximately 20 minutes
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Take a small carpet sample or a cloth place mat, write in permanent marker or paint the words MY PRAYER MAT. Then let the kids decorate with paint, markers, hand prints, flowers, etc. Teachers should assist children with both paint and markers. The kids can place the mat beside their bed at home to kneel on and to remind them to pray. (Praises from parents say the kids enjoy using the mats.)
