1.做：

把一根手工棒和一套图片分发给每个孩子。让学生把父神的图片粘在手工棒的一面，把耶稣的图片粘在另一面。在黑板上写下以下两个词：

父我

当你读约翰福音14:7-11时，让孩子们举起他们的标志，展示与“父”或“我”相对应的图片。

2.说：

DURATION:

Approximately 15 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class, use medium card stock to print out enough pictures for each child to have one of each.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Pass out one craft stick and a set of pictures to each child. Have students glue a picture of God the Father to one side and a picture of Jesus the Son to the other side to make a sign. Write the following words on the board:

FATHER ME I

As you read John 14:7-11, have the children hold up their sign showing the correct picture that goes with the words FATHER, ME or I.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

We are going to read John 14:7-11 to help us understand how God and Jesus are one. First, we need to make a sign that will help us as we read the passage from the Bible. You each will get a craft stick to glue a picture of God the Father on one side and a picture of Jesus on the other side.

Now that everyone has their signs made, look at the board. I have written three words on the board. Let’s read them together, FATHER, ME, and I. As we read John 14:7-11, hold up your sign showing the picture of Jesus when you hear the words ME or I. Hold up your sign showing the picture of God the Father when you hear the word FATHER.

Discussion Questions:

1. If you know Jesus, do you know the Father? (Yes)

2. If you have seen Jesus, have you seen the Father? (Yes)

3. Is Jesus in the Father? (Yes)

4. Is the Father in Jesus? (Yes)
