说明

HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!
Hear the shouts of Hosanna, and feel the breeze of the palm branches with this colorful bulletin board about the triumphal entry of Jesus. TOPICS: Celebration, Easter, Palm Sunday

Bright blue construction paper for background Bright green construction paper for palm branches Yellow construction paper for lettering and music notes Dark green yarn for stems Black or dark color construction paper for boarder
INSTRUCTIONS: Before class, use the palm branch templates to cut out enough palm branches to cover the bulletin board as shown in the example above. For a three-dimensional look, you can crease the ends of the fronds and bend them in different ways. If you have children who are able to use scissors, you can use the templates to trace the branches onto the green construction paper and let the children cut out them out during class. After placing the branches on the bulletin board, add the stems using dark green yarn. Use yellow construction paper to cut out four-inch letters to spell HOSANNA. Also, use yellow construction paper to cut out six or more music notes to place randomly on the bulletin board. Share the story about Jesus entering the city of Jerusalem riding on a donkey. See Matthew 21:1-11. Explain how the people were filled with joy to see Jesus coming. Some people laid their coats on the road while others placed palm branches on the road to honor Him. As Jesus went by, all the people shouted, "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" Optional: Write each of the children's names on one of the music notes. Be sure to show the children where they can find their names.
