上课前，打印好剧本。
剧本材料
邮递员拿着小盒子往莎莉那走。然后他开始跑起来，而盒子掉在了地上。
莎莉：你好，邮递员先生! 哦，我很高兴能收到这个特别的生日礼物。这是我奶奶为我挑选的，我已经等了几个星期了...怎么了？
邮递员：[悲伤地] 莎莉，我把盒子掉在地上了。但愿我没有打破里面的东西。
莎莉：这到底是怎么发生的？
邮递员：嗯...我急着交给你，就跑起来。我知道我应该小心，但我还是跑了。
莎莉：这没有错，邮差先生。但你应该小心翼翼地拿着！

I FORGIVE YOU

DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes
PREPARATION:
Before class, print the script.
Mr. Mailman walks up to Sally while holding the small box. He starts to run and then drops the box.
Sally:Hello, Mr. Mailman! Oh, I’m so glad to receive my special birthday gift. My grandma picked it out for me and I’ve been waiting for weeks for it to arrive…What’s the matter?
Mr. Mailman:[Sadly] Sally, I dropped the box. I hope I didn’t break what’s inside.
Sally:Oh, no! How on earth did that happen?
Mr. Mailman:Well… I was in a hurry to give you your package and decided to run. I knew I should be careful, but I started running anyway.
Sally:That wasn’t a good choice, Mr. Mailman. You are supposed to be careful with packages!
Mr. Mailman:I know, Sally. I am so sorry. Do you want to open it to see if it’s okay?
Sally:[Hesitantly] I guess so… Sally opens the package to discover that her present is broken.
Mr. Mailman:[Beginning to cry] Oh, Sally, please forgive me! I never meant to break your present. I feel horrible. I am the worst friend!
Sally:Please don’t cry, Mr. Mailman. I’m very disappointed, but it’s more important to me that we are still friends, so I forgive you. But will you promise to be more careful next time?
Mr. Mailman:I promise I will be much more careful from now on. How can you forgive me just like that?
Sally:God forgives me every day for things I do on purpose, so I can forgive a friend for an accident. It will be okay, Mr. Mailman.
Mr. Mailman:Thank you so much! I am thankful for your forgiveness, and I’m glad we can still be friends. But I have a question about God.
Sally:Ok, what is it?
Mr. Mailman:[Stammering] D…does…does God forgive me too? Like for all the bad things I do?
Sally:Yes, He will. The Bible tells us that when we believe in God’s Son, Jesus, and ask for forgiveness for our sins then we become His children. Would you like to know more about God’s forgiveness?
Mr. Mailman:Yes, I do! Your kindness has shown me that I need to know more about God and His Son, Jesus. And I want to be able to forgive others like you have forgiven me.
Sally:If you’d like to come back after work, my husband and I would love to explain God’s forgiveness and love.
Mr. Mailman:Sounds like a deal! I can’t wait to learn more about God’s love and forgiveness.
Application: God is forgiving with us, so we should forgive others!
