在课堂开始前，准备几首孩子们喜欢的歌，并设置好播放器。
让所有孩子围成一个圈，选一名孩子作为领舞者。
向孩子们解释：当音乐响起时，所有人都要跟着音乐跳舞，并模仿领舞者的动作。
当音乐停止时，所有人必须保持在与领舞者相同的姿势。如果有人没能做到，就需要暂时坐下，等待重新加入游戏的机会。
重新开始音乐，选择新的领舞者，继续游戏。
反复进行几轮后，让所有孩子都站起来继续活动。
如果有孩子不愿意跳舞，可以建议他们做其他动作，如上下跳跃、原地旋转、挥动手臂等，只要是他们认为大卫王可能在主面前做出的表达喜乐的动作都可以。
无论是跳舞还是其他动作，圈内的所有孩子都必须模仿领舞者，才能继续游戏。

Leaping and Dancing for the Lord

Children leap and dance before the Lord as King David did when the ark of God entered Jerusalem.(2 Samuel 6:14)

Approximately 10 minutes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Before class, find a few songs the children will enjoy. Set up the player before beginning the activity.

Have all the children get into a circle. Choose one child to be the leader. Explain to the children that you will play some music and they will dance to the beat. However, they must dance or do whatever the leader does, until the music stops. When the music stops, they need to be in the same position as the leader. Anyone who is not must sit down until allowed up again.

Start the music and let the leader be creative while the other children copy what he or she is doing. Then stop the music and determine who is not is the same position. Have them sit down. Then, pick another leader, and repeat the process. After a few times, have everyone stand back up and continue the activity. If some children do not feel comfortable dancing, you may suggest that they do other movements, such as jumping up and down, spinning around, or waving their arms around. Anything they believe King David may have done before the Lord. Whether they choose to dance or do something else, the others in the circle must do the same thing to continue.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

When King David brought the ark of God back to Jerusalem, he was full of joy. He didn't care if anyone saw him. David didn't care if he looked funny or if people thought he was a silly dancer. He just wanted to leap and dance for the Lord. It was his way of praising and worshiping God on this special occasion.

When we know the Lord, our lives are full of joy. Like King David, we may feel like leaping and dancing for the Lord. Let's do that right now and celebrate our Lord.
