课前准备

课前为每个孩子打印一份活动页。可以选择彩色版，也可以选择黑白版，让孩子们在课堂上进行着色。

说明

1.做

1）如果使用黑白活动页，先让孩子们为图画着色。

2）接着，让孩子们圈出他们认为需要祷告的人物。（事实上，活动页上展示的每个人都需要祷告，但先让孩子们自由选择。）

3）然后，询问每个孩子圈出的角色，并逐一讨论这些人。

4）最后，带领孩子们为每个人进行祷告。

Who Needs Our Prayers?

An activity to help the children learn that everyone needs our prayers. By Kristy Thornton

MATERIALS:

Activity page (Full color) for each child [PDF] Click here

Activity page (black and white) for each child [PDF] Click here

Crayons or markers

DURATION:

Approximately 10-15 minutes

PREPARATION:

Before class, print out a copy of the activity page for each child. You can use the full color page, or the black and white page the kids can color during class.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

First, if using the black and white activity page, have the children color in the pictures. Next, have them circle all of the people who look as though they could use some prayer. (Actually, everyone shown on the activity page can use prayer. However, let the children choose first.) Then, ask the children who circled each character and talk about them one by one. Finally, you will lead the children in a prayer for each person.

WHAT YOU WILL SAY:

(Ask the children to raise their hand if they circled each person.)

Safety Patrol Person: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

This person keeps us safe when we need to cross the street. We could pray that God also protects him or her. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the Safety Patrol Person.)

Bank Robber: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

Although a bank robber is not a good person, he or she still needs our prayers. We could pray that God helps the bank robber realize that stealing is bad, and to have a changed heart. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the bank robber.)

Teacher: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

Being a school teacher is an important job. Sometimes it is hard because the teacher feels the children are not listening. We could pray that God gives the teacher wisdom and patience to help the children learn. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the teacher.)

Doctor: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

A doctor helps us when we are sick or injured. We could pray the God gives the doctor knowledge and wisdom to keep us healthy. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the doctor.)

Bully: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

A bully is not nice, but he or she also needs our prayers. We could pray that the bully learns to love others and see how special everyone is in God's eyes. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the bully.)

Fire Fighter: Why would this person need our prayers? (Allow for discussion.)

Firefighters have a very dangerous and important job. We could pray that God keeps the firefighter safe as he or she puts out fires and rescues people and animals. (Lead the children in a short prayer for the fire fighter.)

Actually,everyone needs our prayers. We should pray for people who help us, but we should also pray for people who want to do us harm. The Bible says, "I want all of you to pray for eveyone. Ask God to bless them. Give thanks for them." (1 Timothy 2:1 NIRV) The Bible also says, "Love your enemies and pray for those who hurt you." (Matthew 5:44 NIRV)
