PREPARATION:
Before class, print out one activity page for each child.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Explain to the children that they are to draw a line from Jesus in the center of the page, to any item that helps to describe Jesus. After the children finish, have them share with the class how the pictures they selected describe Jesus.Children may find interesting reasons for choosing some of the pictures, which is fine. However, the correct choices and reasons are as follows:
Praying Girl: Jesus prayed to His Father, and we can do the same because Jesus is our Lord.
Crown: Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is our King
Manger: Jesus is God's Son. He came to earth as a little baby to save us.
Dove: Jesus is pure and holy, because He is God.
Bible: The Bible says the Word was with God and the Word became flesh and lived among us. Jesus is the Word.
