做：
告诉班上的孩子，当你朗读时，他们可以在每张便利贴上画一个开心的脸或难过的脸。

"我们不得不送走我们的狗。"
"一场大雨淹没了我的家。"
"我有一个新书包。"

"我的朋友对我喊了一声。"
"我爸爸帮我整理房间。"
应用
你画了多少张开心/难过的脸？当你开心时很容易有感激之情吗（是的）？当你难过时很容易有感激之情吗（不是）？圣经告诉我们，无论何时，我们都可以感激，因为神一直爱我们并看顾我们。虽然我们难过或不开心时很难有感激之情，但请通过告诉他人我们爱神，来表达我们的感激之情！

STICKY NOTE FACES
The children will identify times when it is easy or hard to show thankfulness. by Leah Pittsinger TOPICS: Thankfulness MATERIALS: Sticky notes Markers DURATION: Approximately 10 minutes
PREPARATION: Give each child some sticky notes and a marker.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Tell the class that they will draw either a happy face or a sad face on each sticky note as you read the prompts (the children may stick the notes in front of them on a table as they move through the activity). 1. “I get to visit my grandparents!” 2. “We won our soccer game!” 3. “We had to give away our dog.” 4. “A big rain storm flooded my home.” 5. “I have a new backpack.” 6. “I got into trouble at school.” 7. “My friend yelled at me.” 8. “My dad helped me clean my room.” Application: How many happy/sad faces did you draw? Is it easy to be thankful when you are happy (yes)? Is it easy to be thankful when you are sad (no)? The Bible tells us that we can be thankful no matter what because God always loves us and will take care of us. And while it is hard to be thankful when we are sad or unhappy, showing our thankfulness tells others that we love God!
