说：
有一天，当保罗和他的朋友西拉走在腓立比的街道上时，一个被鬼附着的女孩开始跟着他们。她是一个奴隶，属城里一些人所有，鬼使她具备了占卜师的能力，能预言未来。这让她的主人发了大财。
当她看到保罗和西拉时，她喊道：“这些人来自神，他们在这里告诉我们如何去天国。”她每天在城里看到保罗和西拉时都会高声呼喊这些话。

JOY AND SINGING IN JAIL
A story of joy that came about because Paul and his friend Silas continued to worship and sing to the Lord while in jail. (Acts 16:16-34) TOPICS: Joy, Paul, Worship
DURATION: Approximately 8 minutes One day, while Paul and his friend Silas walked down the streets of Philippi, a demon-possessed girl started to follow them. She was a slave, owned by some of the men who lived in the city. The demon gave her the ability to tell the future, like a fortune teller. This made her owners very rich.When she saw Paul and Silas, she shouted, "These men are from God and are here to tell us how to get to Heaven." Day after day, whenever she saw Paul and Silas in the city, she shouted these words.
Finally, Paul could not take it anymore. He faced the girl and to the demon said, "In the name of Jesus, I command you to come out of her." Immediately, the demon left the girl.
When her owners found out, they were furious. Their hopes of earning a fortune using the poor girl were ruined. They grabbed Paul and Silas, and took them to the city officials saying, "These men are Jews, and they are creating confusion in our fine city. They are teaching things that are against our beliefs as Romans."
The officials agreed and had them badly beaten. Then they had them thrown into jail under heavy guard. The jailer brought them deep inside the prison, and bound them with chains so they would not escape.
It was about midnight when the other prisoners heard some unusual sounds for a prison. One prisoner said, "What is that I hear? It sounds like someone singing and praising God from deep inside the prison."
Another said, "You're right! Who would be singing, especially in a terrible place like this? There is no joy here. It's dark, scary, and there are rats everywhere. What is there to sing about?"
Just then, a violent earthquake shook the prison. At once, all of the jail doors flew open and the chains fell off all of the prisoners.
The jailer woke and saw the open doors. He was afraid the prisoners had escaped. It is a very bad thing for a jailer when the prisoners escape. It usually meant death. The jailer was about to kill himself when Paul shouted, "Hold on! Don't do that, we are all still here!"
The jailer fell before Paul and Silas with trembling and fear. Then he took the two men outside. "What must I do to be saved?" he asked.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." Paul and Silas replied.
After that, the jailer took them to his house, where Paul and Silas shared the word of the Lord with him and with everyone who lived there. After the jailer and his family were baptized, the jailer offered Paul and Silas a wonderful meal, and they were all filled with much joy.
