太24:29那些日子的灾难一过去，日头就变黑了，月亮也不放光，众星要从天上坠落，天势都要震动。’
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
太24:30那时，人子的兆头要显在天上，地上的万族都要哀哭。他们要看见人子有能力，有大荣耀，驾着天上的云降临。
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
太24:31他要差遣使者，用号筒的大声，将他的选民从四方（“方”原文作“风”），从天这边到天那边，都招聚了来。
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
太24:32你们可以从无花果树学个比方：当树枝发嫩长叶的时候，你们就知道夏天近了。
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
太24:33这样，你们看见这一切的事，也该知道人子近了，正在门口了。
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
太24:34我实在告诉你们：这世代还没有过去，这些事都要成就。
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
太24:35天地要废去，我的话却不能废去。
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
太24:36但那日子、那时辰，没有人知道，连天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，惟独父知道。
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
太24:37挪亚的日子怎样，人子降临也要怎样。
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
太24:38当洪水以前的日子，人照常吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亚进方舟的那日，
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
太24:39不知不觉洪水来了，把他们全都冲去。人子降临也要这样。
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
太24:40那时，两个人在田里，取去一个，撇下一个；
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
太24:41两个女人推磨，取去一个，撇下一个。
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
太24:42所以，你们要警醒，因为不知道你们的主是哪一天来到。
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
太24:43家主若知道几更天有贼来，就必警醒，不容人挖透房屋，这是你们所知道的。
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
太24:44所以，你们也要预备，因为你们想不到的时候，人子就来了。
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
太24:45谁是忠心有见识的仆人，为主人所派，管理家里的人，按时分粮给他们呢？
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
太24:46主人来到，看见他这样行，那仆人就有福了。
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
太24:47我实在告诉你们：主人要派他管理一切所有的。
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
太24:48倘若那恶仆心里说：‘我的主人必来得迟’，
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
太24:49就动手打他的同伴，又和酒醉的人一同吃喝。
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
太24:50在想不到的日子，不知道的时辰，那仆人的主人要来，
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
太24:51重重的处治他（或作“把他腰斩了”），定他和假冒为善的人同罪。在那里必要哀哭切齿了。
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
